On Thursday, March 20, former Blue Valley Northwest High School standout Grant Stubblefield’s current collegiate team the Omaha Mavericks lost 83-53 against the St. John's Red Storm in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the St. John's Red Storm during the championship.

Grant Stubblefield’s hometown is Overland Park and game position is guard.
