Rep. Sharice Davids, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 3rd district since 2019, has recently taken to social media to discuss pertinent issues affecting her constituents. Born in Frankfurt in 1980 and now residing in Roeland Park, Davids has been vocal about agricultural prices, healthcare enrollment, and the rights of the transgender community.

On March 30, 2025, Davids expressed concern about agricultural commodity prices, stating that "Corn and soybean prices have dropped 10% since @POTUS’ tariffs were announced — putting Kansas farmers at risk." She emphasized the need for stability and her commitment to protecting farmers from what she described as "reckless policies."

The following day, March 31, 2025, she reminded her followers about the urgency of healthcare enrollment, posting that "Today is the last day to sign up for Medicare if you missed your initial enrollment!" She urged her constituents to enroll by midnight to avoid any coverage gaps or penalties.

Later that day, Davids addressed issues regarding the transgender community, noting her ongoing efforts in Congress to ensure safety and authenticity for all individuals in Kansas. She tweeted, "All Kansans, including the transgender community, deserve to feel safe and be their authentic self." and mentioned her participation in celebrating Trans Day of Visibility with Trans Heartland.
