Sharice Davids, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 3rd district since 2019, recently engaged with her community through a series of visits and messages shared on social media. Her posts highlight her dedication to community development and health care advancements, as well as conveying holiday greetings to her constituents.

On April 19, Davids expressed her appreciation for developments in Edgerton, Kansas, through a tweet. "Big things are happening in @CityofEdgerton! Loved visiting the new green space and catching up with Mayor Roberts on how the city’s investing in community, growth, and quality of life," she wrote, recognizing efforts in city investment and quality of life improvements.

The following day, Davids visited Children's Mercy, a pediatric medical center. She expressed gratitude in a tweet on April 20, "Grateful to the team at @ChildrensMercy for showing me how they’re using cutting-edge technology to deliver top-tier care to kids and families," emphasizing the importance of technological advancements in health care.

Later the same day, Davids conveyed festive wishes to her constituents celebrating Easter. She tweeted on April 20, "To everyone in #KS03 celebrating, I hope you have a Happy Easter! May this be a time of hope and joy," offering a message of hope and joy during the holiday season.

Davids, 42, who was born in Frankfurt, West Germany, in 1980, currently resides in Roeland Park. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell University.
