Sharice Davids, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 3rd district, shared several updates through her social media platform. These posts highlight her legislative activities and engagements with community events.

On May 8, 2025, Rep. Davids announced that she "voted for the bipartisan Safer Communities Act to protect Kansas children, keep our schools safe, and reduce gun violence in America." She expressed a commitment to building on this legislation to enhance safety for Kansans.

Later that day, Davids shared her excitement about the upcoming FIFA World Cup by noting that she "got to stop by and chat with host cities from all over the country for next summer's @FIFAWorldCup!" She conveyed enthusiasm for showcasing what the Kansas City region and other host cities have to offer during the event.

On May 9, 2025, Davids reflected on historical progress in women's health care by marking the anniversary of birth control pill approval. She stated that "65 years ago, the first birth control pill was approved, giving women greater control over their health, their families, and their futures." She emphasized that healthcare decisions should remain between patients and doctors rather than politicians.

Sharice Davids has been serving in Congress since replacing Kevin Yoder in 2019. Born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980, she resides in Roeland Park. Davids graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a BA and earned a JD from Cornell University.
