Born in Frankfurt, West Germany, Davids has been an active member of Congress and resides in Roeland Park.
On May 11, 2025, Rep. Davids congratulated Olivia Wang from Blue Valley High School for winning this year’s #KS03 Art Competition with her piece titled “Uncover.” She expressed pride in celebrating Wang and other talented student artists. The following day, May 12, 2025, Rep. Davids highlighted her meeting with the Taxpayer Advocate Service in Wichita. She described them as an essential partner for Kansans dealing with IRS issues and recovering refunds. Later that day, she also mentioned meeting families affected by the ICT-DCA plane collision tragedy. Sharice Davids graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a BA in 2007 and earned a JD from Cornell University in 2010.
