Rep. Sharice Davids, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 3rd district since 2019, shared her views on several issues through a series of tweets. Davids, born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and now residing in Roeland Park, is known for her advocacy on economic and social matters.

On May 16, 2025, Rep. Davids criticized the House GOP budget proposal for providing "billionaires more tax giveaways" while reducing essential services such as health care and food support for Kansans. She questioned the rationale behind these budgetary decisions "The House GOP budget hands billionaires more tax giveaways, while cutting health care and food for hardworking Kansans. How does that make any sense?"

Later that day, she highlighted her efforts to protect investments in American manufacturing which resulted in securing benefits such as increased employment opportunities and stronger supply chains for Kansans "I stood up to protect investments in American manufacturing—and won. That means more good-paying jobs, stronger supply chains, and a more secure economy for hardworking Kansans."

On May 17, 2025, Rep. Davids marked the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia by calling for continued collaboration to ensure all individuals can live authentically without fear "On this International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, let's continue to work together to ensure everyone — regardless of who they are or who they love — is free to live authentically and without fear."

Sharice Davids holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and a JD from Cornell University (2010).
