On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Olathe West Senior High School standout Willie Ponce’s current college team, the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.

The game took place at McCord Field. This was their third matchup against the Javelinas this season.

The Greyhounds’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at McCord Field against Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.
