On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Shawnee Mission East High School standout Wes Lyerly’s current college team, the Indiana State Sycamores, won 16-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wagner Seahawks.

The game took place at Caromont Health Park. This was their second matchup against the Seahawks this season.

The Sycamores’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 12 p.m. at Caromont Health Park against Wagner Seahawks.
