On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Blue Valley Southwest High School standout Carson Hornung’s current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies.

The game took place at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Grizzlies this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium against Samford Bulldogs.
