On Monday, Feb. 24, former Shawnee Mission East High School standout Noah Steele’s current college team, the Emporia State Hornets, won 11-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their third matchup against the Gorillas this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Glennen Field against Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
