On Sunday, March 2, former Blue Valley North High School standout Gus Freeman’s current college team, the Austin Peay Governors, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Eastern Illinois Panthers.

The game took place at Joe Maynard Field at Raymond C. Hand Park. This was their third matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Governors’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at Joe Maynard Field at Raymond C. Hand Park against Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders.
