Rep. Sharice Davids, who represents Kansas’ 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on her legislative priorities and community engagement through a series of posts on social media.
On August 3, 2025, Davids wrote, "I was proud to vote for capping insulin costs at $35 for seniors. Now, we’re working to cap it for everyone else. No one should have to choose between their health and paying rent."
The following day, August 4, she addressed recent events involving aviation safety: "My statement following last week's @NTSB_Newsroom hearing on the tragic midair collision involving a flight from Kansas: https://t.co/uppS5JzeAM"
Later that same day, Davids commented on economic issues facing local businesses and consumers: "When local businesses grow, they make goods more affordable and keep our economy strong. I’m working to cut costs across the supply chain so businesses can thrive — and Kansans can save. https://t.co/YEYDtQOdNZ"
