U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who serves Kansas’ 3rd district in Congress since 2019, has recently highlighted her legislative priorities and community engagement through a series of posts on social media.

On August 5, 2025, Davids announced, "Just held a roundtable with local leaders on the next major transportation bill. I’m making sure it reflects our region’s real needs: safer roads, less congestion, and more good-paying jobs."

The following day, she addressed concerns about access to reproductive healthcare services. On August 6, Davids posted, "Planned Parenthood delivers critical reproductive care — from cancer screenings to birth control to STI testing. But extreme budget cuts are threatening those services. I sat down with their team to discuss how I can continue fighting for them in Congress."

Later that same day, Davids reported on her participation at a national event focused on inclusive economic growth: "Honored to join leaders from across the country at @WeAreUnidosUS’s annual conference in KC. Our economy is stronger when everyone has a fair shot, and that means investing in inclusive growth, opportunity, and community."

Sharice Davids was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park at age 42. She holds degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (BA) and Cornell University (JD). Her tenure began after replacing former Congressman Kevin Yoder in 2019.
