On August 8, 2025, Davids criticized the Trump Administration for its handling of wildfire response funding in Kansas. She stated, "The Trump Administration delayed critical firefighting funds as Kansas experiences an increasing number of wildfires. This puts lives and businesses in danger. I’m pushing back."
Later that day, Davids highlighted her efforts to support rural communities in the state. She wrote, "Hosted a great discussion on rural economic development today. From better infrastructure to good-paying jobs, we’re making sure rural communities in Kansas aren’t left behind." The post emphasized ongoing initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and job opportunities in rural areas.
On August 9, 2025, Davids shared her experience visiting a local community space dedicated to supporting teens and families. She posted, "Loved touring the new @TylersHouseKC space in Mission and trying out their amazing tech! Their work is making a real impact for teens and families across #KS03."
Sharice Davids has represented Kansas’s 3rd District since 2019 after succeeding Kevin Yoder. Born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980, she currently resides in Roeland Park. Davids holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a JD from Cornell University.
