U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who serves Kansas’ 3rd district, addressed a range of issues affecting her constituents in a series of posts on August 19, 2025, including infrastructure investment, early childhood education, and disaster relief.

On August 19, Davids wrote about the state’s infrastructure needs: "Kansas infrastructure needs some attention. Read about how I’m working to bring dollars back to our state to make commutes faster and drives safer https://t.co/o5XK1mHQbc".

Later that day, she highlighted her support for Head Start programs after visiting the Family Conservancy: "Affordable Head Start supports kids’ growth and helps parents work and provide for their families. Proud to see it in action at the Family Conservancy. https://t.co/WW7XYMaXw2".

In another post from August 19, Davids described efforts by Kansas lawmakers following severe weather events: "Severe storms and flooding hit Kansas hard this summer. Our entire bipartisan delegation joined in urging the President to approve @GovLauraKelly’s disaster request so communities get the help they need. https://t.co/5tm0bbcNmR".
