Rep. Sharice Davids, U.S. Congresswoman representing Kansas’ 3rd district since 2019, highlighted several recent activities and policy positions in a series of posts on her social media account.

On August 21, 2025, Davids participated in an event celebrating Social Security's anniversary. She stated: "Proud to be a part of @AARPKS' celebration of 90 years of Social Security! While extreme politicians threaten to strip away Social Security from those who have earned their benefits, I'll keep fighting to strengthen it."

The following day, August 22, Davids addressed health care issues facing rural communities. In her post she said: "Health care workers are on the front lines ensuring our communities are safe and healthy — but changes in federal policy are putting them at risk. I sat down with rural health care leaders to learn more about how I can support them in Congress."

Later that same day, Davids commented on affordable housing efforts in Kansas: "Grateful for @habitatkc's commitment to making home ownership more accessible to hardworking Kansans and enjoyed getting to see updates on one of their newest projects in Olathe!"

Sharice Davids has represented Kansas’s 3rd District since defeating Kevin Yoder in 2019. She was born in Frankfurt, West Germany, in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. Davids holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and a JD from Cornell University (2010).
