U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, who has served Kansas’s 3rd District since 2019, highlighted her recent efforts to support local farmers and families in a series of social media posts published on August 29 and 30, 2025.
In an August 29 post, Davids emphasized the global impact of Kansas agriculture: "Kansas farmers don't just feed us here at home, they feed the world — and they need to be able to make informed business decisions. I'm working with ag industry leaders to support Kansas farmers, secure supply chains, and lower costs."
On August 30, Davids shared her engagement with community arts organizations: "Summer may be winding down, but there's still lots to do in #KS03! Enjoyed meeting with the hardworking team at Theater in the Park in Shawnee to learn more about all they're doing to support the arts in the KC region."
Later that day, she addressed concerns about inflation affecting residents: "Every day, I hear from folks struggling with the rising prices of necessities like groceries and gas. That's why I've supported bipartisan legislation that would strengthen our ag industry while lowering costs for hardworking Kansas families."
Sharice Davids has represented Kansas's 3rd District since defeating Kevin Yoder in 2019. She was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and resides in Roeland Park. Her educational background includes a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and a JD from Cornell University (2010).
