The Olathe Public Schools Alumni Association seeks nominations for its 2023 Wall of Honor and will accept nomination forms through March 1. This year's honorees will be recognized at a banquet on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
Nominees must have graduated from a district high school at least 20 years ago. Nominations are accepted on an ongoing basis, but the 2023 Wall of Honor forms must be received by March 1.
To date, more than 80 graduates of Olathe schools have been recognized for their accomplishments in their personal or professional lives, in community service, or for a lifelong commitment to educational excellence. These honorees have included teachers, governors, military servicemen, mayors, authors, and professional athletes to name a few of their accomplishments.
In addition to the Wall of Honor recognition for those who graduated from Olathe schools, the alumni association recognizes current and former district staff for their lifetime achievements. The Distinguished Person of Honor award has been given to 12 individuals since 2012.
