U.S. Senator Roger Marshall visited Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) to tour their EMT and Paramedics Program. KCKCC, located in Wyandotte County, serves a diverse student population, with over half of its students being the first in their families to attend college.

The EMT and Paramedics Program is central to KCKCC's health science curriculum, preparing students for careers in emergency medical services. The college offers an entry-level EMT program for certification seekers and an advanced paramedic program that enhances certified EMTs' skills for first responders.

Senator Marshall emphasized the importance of these programs, stating, "First responders are vital to Kansas’ success and safety. KCKCC’s state-of-the-art EMT and paramedics programs are doing a great job teaching our next generation of first responders and equipping them with the necessary skills they need to keep Kansans safe."
