Rep. Sharice Davids, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 3rd district, has been active on social media discussing her recent engagements and initiatives. On February 5th and 6th, 2025, she shared updates regarding her meetings with local leaders and her efforts to support law enforcement and infrastructure development in Kansas.

On February 5th, Rep. Davids highlighted her productive discussions with the mayors of Gardner City, Olathe, and Pomona. She stated that they covered a range of topics including infrastructure and economic growth, emphasizing the importance of ensuring Kansas communities receive the necessary support to thrive. "Had great meetings with the mayors of @GardnerCity, @CityofOlatheKS, and Pomona! We talked about everything from infrastructure to economic growth, and making sure Kansas communities have the support they need to thrive. Always glad to work with our local leaders!"

Later that day, Rep. Davids expressed her commitment to supporting law enforcement officers in Kansas. She acknowledged their hard work in maintaining community safety and pledged ongoing collaboration with the National Fraternal Order of Police to ensure they have adequate resources and training. "Law enforcement officers work tirelessly to keep our communities safe, and they deserve our support. I’ll keep working with the folks at Kansas’ National Fraternal Order of Police (@GLFOP) to ensure they have the resources, training, and respect needed."

On February 6th, Rep. Davids met with Calvin Reed from KDOTHQ to discuss transportation safety for Kansans.
