U.S. Senator Roger Marshall expressed his support for President Donald Trump's decision to impose reciprocal tariffs. In a statement released today, he emphasized the need to move away from trade agreements that disadvantage the United States.

“Gone are the days of unfair trade deals that give foreign nations the upper hand,” said Senator Marshall. “Today, President Trump put the world on notice: America will no longer be taken advantage of."

Marshall highlighted reciprocal tariffs as effective tools for negotiating better trade deals, promoting economic growth, and enhancing national security. He believes these measures will help bring jobs back to the United States and prioritize American-made goods.

"With President Trump’s leadership, I am confident we will bring more jobs back to our country, prioritize American-made goods, and level the playing field," he stated.
