Rep. Sharice Davids, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 3rd district, shared a series of tweets on February 13 and 14, 2025. These tweets highlighted her involvement with federal workers, aviation safety reforms, and local community engagement.

On February 13, Rep. Davids emphasized the importance of federal workers by attending an event hosted by the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE). She noted their role in maintaining government operations and stated, "Federal workers keep our government running, and @AFGENational is a strong voice advocating for them. Great to join their annual legislative reception and discuss how we can keep supporting those who keep our country moving!"

The following day, February 14, Rep. Davids addressed aviation safety concerns after a recent midair collision involving flight AA5342 from Wichita. She called for swift action from the U.S. Department of Transportation to implement Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) safety reforms passed by Congress last year. Her tweet read: "After the recent AA5342 midair collision from Wichita, I’m urging @USDOT to quickly implement FAA safety reforms that Congress passed last year." She stressed the need for upgrades in air traffic control systems, increased staffing levels, and modern technology enhancements.

Additionally on Valentine's Day itself, Rep. Davids took time to engage with veterans at the VA in Lenexa within her district. She tweeted about this experience: "Happy Valentine's Day, #KS03! Had a blast this morning spreading the love to local veterans and staff at the VA in Lenexa."
