U.S. Senator Roger Marshall from Kansas has expressed his support following the Senate's agreement on the Fiscal Year 2025 budget resolution aimed at securing the southern border, fulfilling a key promise of former President Donald Trump. Senator Marshall, who serves on the Senate Budget Committee, emphasized the importance of this resolution in advancing Trump's national security agenda.

"The American people delivered a strong mandate in November when they voted for President Trump and his America First national security agenda," stated Senator Marshall. He highlighted the collaborative effort among Republican colleagues on the committee to ensure that tools are provided for Trump to address what he described as "the Biden-Harris border crisis."

Senator Marshall noted that he supported the budget resolution which aims to facilitate construction of a border wall and halt illegal activities such as terrorism, drug trafficking, and cartel operations. He added that after addressing these priorities, there would be efforts to make Trump's tax cuts permanent to prevent tax increases on families and small businesses. "Promises made, promises kept," he concluded.
