U.S. Senator Roger Marshall from Kansas issued a statement following President Donald Trump's recent address to a joint session of Congress. The speech, themed "Renewal of the American Dream," highlighted several key initiatives and achievements of the Trump Administration.

Senator Marshall expressed his support for President Trump's efforts, stating, “The theme of last night’s speech was ‘Renewal of the American Dream,’ and it could have also been called ‘Promises Made, Promises Kept.’” He praised the administration's actions since taking office, including securing borders, deporting criminal aliens, reducing waste through the DOGE initiative, enhancing economic standing via tariffs and trade agreements, and seeking an end to the war in Ukraine.

Marshall emphasized that these policies would benefit Kansans directly. He noted the importance of confirming officials like Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. According to Marshall, their roles are crucial in opening new markets for farmers and ranchers in Kansas while ensuring taxpayer dollars prioritize American interests.

Despite these efforts, Senator Marshall criticized Democrats for not supporting what he described as "common sense actions" that he believes have widespread public backing.
