On March 28, 2025, Davids addressed promises made by former President Donald Trump regarding Medicaid. She stated, "President Trump promised not to cut Medicaid, but he lied. Just ask Emily, a Prairie Village parent and health care expert, who knows firsthand what’s at stake."
Later that day, Davids shared on social media about her commitment to tribal sovereignty. On March 28, 2025, she wrote, "Had a great conversation with @HoChunkNationPR leaders! As a proud Ho-Chunk Nation citizen, I’m committed to strengthening Tribal sovereignty — not just for my community, but for Native communities across the country."

Davids has served in the U.S. Congress since 2019 after taking over from Kevin Yoder. She holds a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a JD from Cornell University.
