Rep. Sharice Davids, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 3rd district, recently took to social media to express her concerns and initiatives in a series of posts. The congresswoman focused on healthcare funding and a legislative proposal aimed at enhancing manufacturing in the country.

On April 9, 2025, Davids addressed issues surrounding Title X, a longstanding program aimed at providing affordable and quality reproductive health care services, including birth control, cancer screenings, and STI testing. In her post, she stated, "For over 50 years, Title X has helped millions of Americans access affordable, quality reproductive health care — birth control, cancer screenings, STI testing, and more." Davids raised concerns about the program being jeopardized as funds have been frozen, allegedly by President Biden.

Continuing the conversation about healthcare on April 9, 2025, she further emphasized the importance of reproductive health care access for everyone. She stated, "Everyone deserves access to reproductive health care. Period." The post included a link for further information on the impact on Kansas and adjacent areas.

Shifting focus to another subject, on April 10, 2025, Davids highlighted her legislative efforts with a link directing followers to more details about her Defend American Manufacturing Act. She simply stated, "Read more about my Defend American Manufacturing Act here:" suggesting ongoing efforts to boost manufacturing in the United States.

Sharice Davids has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2019, representing Kansas's 3rd district. Having replaced the former representative, Kevin Yoder, Davids, who resides in Roeland Park, was born in Frankfurt, West Germany, in 1980. She possesses a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a JD from Cornell University. Davids has been active in her role, focusing on various issues affecting her constituents and the nation.
