U.S. Senator Roger Marshall recently visited the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) in Wichita. In his meeting with the leadership team, Senator Marshall acknowledged the recognition of Wichita as the best city in the country for veterans’ healthcare.

Senator Marshall expressed his satisfaction, saying, "It was great to meet with the Veterans Benefits Administration leadership team in Wichita.” He emphasized his personal connection to the military as both a veteran and a member of a military family. Senator Marshall stated, "My visit reaffirmed why Wichita has been recognized as the top city in the country for veterans’ health care. As a veteran and someone who comes from a military family, I have a deep appreciation of the sacrifices our servicemembers have made."

He further committed to his role as an advocate in Washington for the veteran community, stating, "That’s why I am one of their strongest advocates in Washington. While Kansas veterans are getting the best care in the nation, I will never stop fighting to ensure they receive the top-notch support and resources they deserve."

Senator Marshall's visit highlights the ongoing efforts to ensure veterans receive quality healthcare and support.
