On June 1, 2025, Rep. Davids expressed pride in the students she nominated to the nation's military service academies. She remarked "So proud of the dedicated students I had the honor of nominating to our nation’s military service academies. Your commitment to serving our country is inspiring — we can’t wait to see all you achieve!"

Later that day, she extended her support for Pride Month by stating "All Kansans — regardless of who they are and who they love — deserve to thrive as their most authentic selves. Happy Pride Month!" This message highlights her ongoing commitment to advocating for equality and inclusivity.

On June 2, 2025, Rep. Davids announced a visit to the Shawnee Fire Department where she secured federal funding for solar panel installations. She noted "Kicked off the week at the @cityofshawneeks Fire Department, where I secured federal investments for new solar panels." She emphasized that these upgrades would reduce energy costs and save taxpayer dollars while enhancing efficiency in public buildings.

Sharice Davids was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and resides in Roeland Park. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a BA in 2007 and earned a JD from Cornell University in 2010.
