Rep. Sharice Davids, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 3rd district, shared a series of tweets highlighting various local and national issues. Born in Frankfurt, West Germany, in 1980, Davids has been an active representative since she replaced Kevin Yoder in 2019.

On June 6, 2025, Rep. Davids expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming World Cup and its impact on local culture. She stated "With the World Cup on the way, @cityofshawneeks and Shawnee Town 1929 are showing off the best of Kansas history. Proud to support their work — and excited for the world to see what we’re all about!" This tweet underscores her support for cultural initiatives that showcase Kansas's heritage.

The following day, June 7, she acknowledged the critical role nurses play in healthcare by tweeting "Nurses are the backbone of our health care system. Grateful to @tweetAONL for stopping by to share how they're supporting nurse leaders in Kansas and across the country." This message highlights her appreciation for nursing professionals and organizations like AONL that bolster nurse leadership.

Later on June 7, Rep. Davids addressed postal service concerns by noting "Kansans rely on the postal service every day, but delayed service has left many confused and frustrated." She mentioned working with fellow senators Jerry Moran and Roger Marshall to advocate for improvements at a downtown post office location.

Sharice Davids resides in Roeland Park and holds degrees from both the University of Missouri-Kansas City (BA) and Cornell University (JD).
