Saturday, March 1: Shawnee Mission South High School standout Sam Owens’ college team wins to McKendree Bearcats

On Saturday, March 1, former Shawnee Mission South High School standout Sam Owens’ current college team, the Rockhurst Hawks, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the McKendree Bearcats.

The game took place at Hypes Field. This was their second matchup against the Bearcats this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at Hypes Field against McKendree Bearcats.
