On Saturday, March 1, former Shawnee Mission South High School standout Cristian Hampton’s college team won in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Saturday, March 1, former Shawnee Mission South High School standout Cristian Hampton’s current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, won 14-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Concordia Golden Bears.

The game took place at Bearcat Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3 p.m. at Bearcat Baseball Field against Washburn Ichabods.
