On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Blue Valley Southwest High School standout Drew Jakubielski’s current college team, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, won 16-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Christian Brothers Buccaneers.

The game took place at Nadicksbernd Field. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12 p.m. at Nadicksbernd Field against Christian Brothers Buccaneers.
