On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Blue Valley Southwest High School standout Carsen Tinkler’s current college team, the Missouri Southern State Lions, lost 4-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UIS Prairie Stars.

The game took place at Memorial Park. This was their first matchup against the Prairie Stars this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12 p.m. at Memorial Park against UMSL Tritons.
