Representative Sharice Davids, who has served Kansas’s 3rd District in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently shared updates on her activities and policy priorities through a series of posts on social media. Davids, who succeeded Kevin Yoder and currently resides in Roeland Park, addressed topics ranging from rural health care to air safety and the ongoing fight against fentanyl.
On July 11, 2025, Davids marked the opening of an updated health care facility in Wellsville by stating: "Every Kansan — no matter their ZIP code — deserves access to quality, reliable health care. Proud to celebrate the grand opening of @AdventHealth’s updated Wellsville location and meet the dedicated folks expanding care in our rural communities."
The following day, July 12, she highlighted her engagement with aviation professionals at New Century Air Center: "Always great to connect with the team at New Century Air Center! From runway to radar, air safety professionals work 24/7 to keep us safe — and I’m proud to support policies that have their backs."
Later on July 12, Davids addressed efforts against drug abuse in Kansas: "We've made progress in the fight against fentanyl — but there's more work to do. I'm working with local leaders to help keep our communities safe."
Sharice Davids was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and is currently 42 years old. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a BA in 2007 and earned a JD from Cornell University in 2010.
