Rep. Sharice Davids, who has represented Kansas’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, shared updates on recent activities and legislative priorities through a series of social media posts between September 19 and September 21, 2025.

On September 19, Davids posted about a bipartisan sporting event in Congress: "Last night's inaugural Congressional Pickleball Game was a success! Always happy to come together with colleagues from both sides of the aisle for a good cause."

The following day, she highlighted her support for infrastructure improvements in Kansas: "I voted for the bipartisan Infrastructure Law — kick-starting 370+ road, bridge, transit, and water projects across Kansas, creating good-paying jobs for our communities."

On September 21, Davids addressed healthcare research initiatives: "Protecting medical research saves lives. Great meeting with @RallyforNIH to talk about the incredible work at KU Med and why federal support for NIH is so critical for Kansas patients and families."

Davids has been an active member of Congress since succeeding Kevin Yoder in 2019. She was born in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1980 and currently resides in Roeland Park. Her academic background includes a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2007) and a JD from Cornell University (2010).
