U.S. Senator Roger Marshall has addressed a letter to ABC President Almin Karamehmedovic and Harris-Walz Campaign Manager Julie Chávez Rodriguez, accusing ABC of bias and suspected collusion with the Harris-Walz Campaign before a recent presidential debate. In the letter, Senator Marshall requested that ABC disclose all pre-debate correspondence, records, and internal communications with the Harris-Walz Campaign to address allegations of collusion and demonstrate impartiality.

During the debate, ABC moderators Linsey Davis and David Muir were observed repeatedly fact-checking and refuting statements made by President Trump, leading to perceptions of a three-on-one dynamic against the Republican nominee. In contrast, Kamala Harris was not subjected to similar scrutiny. The moderators did not challenge her statements on various issues, including the economy and U.S. foreign policy since 2021.

Concerns have been raised about possible coordination between ABC executives and the Harris campaign due to significant campaign donations and close relationships between some ABC executives and members of the Kamala Campaign.
